Housing disrepair scam calls from 0333 339 7701
This scam phone number (03333397701) called one of us this morning, pretending to be “Housing Disrepair Team” which was interesting, because we do a lot of Expert Witness reports on this subject, as well as our normal surveys and inspections for damp, structure, safety etc.
The caller was asking what defects / disrepair issues were present in the property. When asked who they worked for, they simply said they worked with Councils and Housing Associations. They soon hung up. Beware – these fraudsters are out there, maybe preying on those who are in need of advice. This was reported to 7726, which you can do for scam texts too, here’s how:
